Minister Stephen Dawson Invites Delegates to WA Space Week 2024

Western Australian Minister for Science, Medical Research, Emergency Services, Innovation, and the Digital Economy, Stephen Dawson, has extended a formal invitation to join Western Australia Space Week from November 25 to 29, 2024.

“Western Australia is the place for space,” Minister Dawson proudly announced, highlighting the state’s pivotal role in space exploration and innovation. He shared his excitement for this year’s WA Space Week, where three major space events will take place at Crown Perth.

Following the success of last year’s Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference (IPSEC), which welcomed over 440 international delegates, IPSEC 2024 will once again bring together leaders from across the Indo-Pacific and beyond. Attendees from various sectors—space, resources, agriculture, defence, energy, advanced manufacturing, robotics, and education—will come together to explore cross-sector innovations and new collaboration opportunities.

This year, IPSEC will be co-located with the 30th Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF), creating a comprehensive and dynamic program for delegates.

Minister Dawson invites everyone to participate in WA Space Week and contribute to this exciting time for Western Australia’s space sector.
