Indo-Pacific space and emerging technology conferences scheduled for Perth in September 2027

The Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference and the Indo-Pacific Robotics, Autonomy, AI and Cyber Conference will return as co-located events at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7–8 September 2027.

The two conferences will operate alongside a joint exhibition and business networking program, bringing together the space sector with industries adopting robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, cyber security and remote technologies.

The Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference, known as IPSEC, will focus on space technologies and their applications across sectors including mining, oil and gas, energy, renewables, agriculture, defence, advanced manufacturing and government.

Its program is expected to examine the relationship between space-based capabilities and activity on Earth, including satellite communications, Earth observation, remote operations, data analytics, space domain awareness, sovereign capability and commercial space development.

The Indo-Pacific Robotics, Autonomy, AI and Cyber Conference, or IPRAAC, will provide a parallel forum for technology developers, operators, researchers, policymakers and investors working across robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, cyber security and data.

The conference will consider how these technologies are being applied across defence, resources, energy, emergency services, agriculture, manufacturing, education and other sectors operating in complex or remote environments.

Co-locating the events is intended to reflect the increasing convergence of their subject areas. Satellite services depend on autonomous systems, cyber resilience, artificial intelligence and data processing, while industries on Earth are increasingly using space-derived information to support automated operations and decision-making.

The shared exhibition will allow participating organisations to engage with delegates from both conferences and demonstrate technologies with applications across multiple industries.

The 2027 events follow the inaugural IPRAAC held in Perth in October 2025 and earlier editions of IPSEC. Previous programs have attracted speakers and delegates from government, defence, industry, research and education across Australia, the Indo-Pacific and wider international markets.

The organisers are inviting expressions of interest from prospective speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. Detailed programs, speakers, technical activities and registration arrangements will be announced closer to the events.

Both conferences are organised by Space and Earth Partners and Advisory and MySecurity Media.

Further information and expressions of interest are available through the Indo-Pacific Robotics, Autonomy, AI and Cyber Conference and Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference websites.
